We are expecting our third child!! Wahooo!!
No it wasn't expected, but we have decided it will always be a blessing to have another beautiful baby enter our lives. And no I wasn't trying to be pregnant with all of you out there that are pregnant as well. We thought we were going to wait another year. LOL.
This baby is due one day after Ali's second birthday which would be January 16, 2010. This puts me at 9 weeks tomorrow. I am hoping I won't have to wait that long, but who knows.
I have been extremely sick (some of you may have noticed my posts on facebook about not feeling well) and have resorted to just laying on the couch somedays trying to tend to the children as much as possible. I throw up just about every morning and some evenings. I constantly feel nauseous and cannot eat that much at one sitting.
It has been extremely difficult to not just scream it out to the world. Especially when I found out the week before Memorial Day weekend when we saw everyone at Spring Fest that we don't see that often. But Roger and I decided we would wait until after my first appt. to make sure everything was going well because I did have a CT scan in the first couple weeks of being pregnant (because I had no clue) and I read about how those can cause miscarriages so I have been extremely worried.
We had our ultrasound today (and I don't have a scanner that works so I couldn't post it, but there isn't much to see but a peanut shape) and the baby is tiny, only a little over 2cms. It made me really excited but a litte nervous at the same time. Each pregnancy has been completely different, but I do remember the pain of the contractions I had all the time with Ali and I'm not looking forward to that. I got all of my blood drawn today too and wasn't faint afterwords so that was nice. We do have a name picked out for a boy, but girl's names are the hardest for us!!

However.. I'm excited about NOT being pregnant right now.. haha! But my baby is growing up too fast that i'll be so jealous when you have this baby when mine is almost 1!

Hope that you feel better! Being sick is the pits!
COngratulation! That is super exciting. Babies are always a blessing and we hope that all goes well. Keep us updated. I love you Ashley!
Oooh yay Ashley! That's sooo exciting! I forgive you for getting pregnant with the rest of us. It must be contagious, right?! It's sooo wierd for me to think about a third baby, and people keep saying that now we'll have one of each we can be done. I don't really have that feeling (about being done yet) but I guess I'll have to wait until I have my second first eh? Good luck lady!!! I hope the sickness subsides. IT'S JUST MISERABLE!
Love Nichole
Yay! I'm glad we get to be pregnant together again. Well, for a little while anyway. Only a few more weeks and you'll be out of that icky first trimester!
Girls names are totally harder for us to pick out too! Congrats!! That's so exciting for your family! What a blessing! Good luck with the sickness. Yikes!
Hello! I was lurking on your blog and was reading your post below about your little girl and thought I would comment. Oh, by the way, I am Stacey Rippy's sis in law and cousin in law to Amy Duvall so its not to freaky I was reading about you, we at least know the same people. :) Anyway, the reason I was commenting is because our oldest also gets UTI's and kidney infections and wanted to tell you what we do. She had a VCUG done a couple years ago and it didn't show anything either and she has still had problems. 17 UTI's so far and quite a few kidney infections but has gone about 6 months since the last one and 11 months before that one. Our rules that have helped slow things down are-no baths, no hot tubs, no holding when needing to go to the bathroom and she drinks a glass of cranberry juice everyday. It has helped a ton!!! We think maybe she is starting to grow out of them to.?. I know how you feel going through this but I hope if she still has problems maybe you'll try what we've done. Good Luck! Oh and Congrats on the baby. :)

Congratulations! January is a good month ; ) Hope all goes well for you! -- Josie
